In the Algonquin Hotel's annual Cat Fashion Show, Matilda the cat hosted many fine felines who pulled out their most ferocious attire out of their litter boxes to this intimate hotel suite event. Fabulous costumes were required for all attendants, no pussies allowed.
If there's one thing we love here at FashionIndie, it is pet fashion. With pets all across New York pulling out all the stops for doggy nuptials and celebrity pet fashion editorials, we're seeing a trend in New York's furriest becoming New York's finest.
Last night at the Algonquin Hotel, Matilda the cat hosted the hotel's annual Cat Fashion Show. Adopting cats from the street since the 1930's, Matilda is the hotel's 10th cat and this was her second year hosting the phenomenal feline fête. At the event, there was an adoption center set up by Bideawee, and were requesting $25 donations going to charity NY Save.
The furbulous attendants donned everything and anything from top hats to tulle and the results are meow-verlous. Satisfy your catlike curiosity and click through 8 of the top snapshots from last night's event and see what these fashionable kitties drug in.
