Someone Just Spent $40K on an Historical Footnote

Mar 04, 2011 - by Lester Brathwaite

Remember that lock of Justin Bieber's hair that Ellen Degeneres put up for auction? Yeah, me neither. Thankfully (?) someone remembered...to the tune of $40,688. In other news, I totally stole a lock of Miley Cyrus's hair out of the gutter she crawled out of this morning. Who wants to give me 20 bucks and a cocktail for it?

The classy online casino GoldenPalace.com shattered the dreams of a middle-aged pedo in Kansas when they ponied up the cash on Wednesday. All proceeds will go to animal rescue organization, The Gentle Barn Foundation, thus denying me more fur coats. Thanks, Biebs.

GoldenPalace.com issued a nauseating press releas e stuffed heartily with the overabundant usage of "belieber" and featuring the above image with the caption:

"Lock of Justin Bieber's hair, bought by GoldenPalace.com, encased in plexiglass for future generations."

Future generations? I have two words to say to that: Backstreet Boys.
