Barbie definitely isn't the only stylish doll on the fashion week circuit. Strawberry Shortcake is hitting up Paris Fashion Week in designs by Sonia Rykiel, Jean Cacharel, and Alexis Mabille.

Strawberry Shortcake or Charlotte aux Fraises  as she is known in France, is hitting Paris Fashion Week with a wardrobe full of one-of-a-kind couture outfits.

A collection of French designers who are showing at Paris Fashion Week are designing a collection of looks for the famous fruity toy. The participating designers include; Sonia Rykiel, Jean Cacharel, Alexis Mabille, Stella Cadente, Marithe and Francis Girbaud, Antik Batik, Fifi Chachnil, and Nathalie Garcon.

The dolls are to be showcased from September 25th - October 3rd at the School of the Union Chamber of Couture and later will be auctioned off to benefit Ce Ke du Conheur. Ce Ke du Conheur is a charity who helps improve the quality of life of children in hospitals.

After this collaboration we have never seen Strawberry Shortcake look more fabulous. Hopefully the go-to fashion collaboration doll Barbie won't get upset when she hears that her fruity girlfriend is getting a high fashion makeover. We can only imagine the girl fight this announcement could cause between the two ladies. The only thing that's for sure is that it would be far from child's play.
