When we found JT's super secret new single leaked this morning, I was pumped that he'd finally brought his sexy back to music. But the song was eh, and I wondered why he was going against his gut - he told EW back in October that he'd be doing the acting thang till a musical muse rose inside of him. Then the sigh of relief - the update that it's not his song! Apparently, fakes are not exclusive to fashion. We have a counterfeit Justin Timberlake on our hands.

The song, Take You Down, with the signature Justin bass line and falsetto is actually by Danish songster Rasmus Thude.

Now, did he mean to knock off our favorite former boy bander, or does he simply happen to be a fully formed Justin Timberlake sight and sound doppelgänger? Do you think this song is bumping enough to give Rasmus some iTunes downloads or did he just brand himself as a fake?
