The teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, the final installment of the Christopher Nolan-helmed Dark Knight series has hit the internets. Sadly, there's no Anne Hathaway brandishing a whip in a catsuit, but my box office appetite is certainly whet. Take a look after the jump.

The film, slated for a Summer 2012 release stars Christian Bale in the titular role, Hathaway as Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane and my future ex-husband Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake. Series regulars Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman return as well.

Well, color me excited but who wants to wait an entire year? I want Christian & co. giving me a rise now!
