Nicole Scherzinger's Twitter Dress is #Fabulous

Nov 02, 2012 - by Emily Draznik

The fashion industry is wholeheartedly addicted to Twitter and it was only a matter of time before our obsession materialized. In the form of a dress that displays tweets in real-time, this gown by CuteCircuit is something to tweet about.

Containing 2,000 LED lights and 3,000 Swarovski crystals, Nicole Scherzinger literally lit up the red carpet on Thursday night. At the EE 4G  launch party, the former Pussycat Doll wore a dress by CuteCircuit that displayed tweets in real-time.

Tweets that were sent to the handle @EE or #tweetthedress were displayed on Nicole's gown while she walked the red carpet. CuteCircuit also created Katy Perry's 2010 Met Gala dress that used LED lights. Granted if we would have known about this beforehand, the troll in us would try and tweet the most ridiculous things to be displayed on Nicole's dress. There really aren't many restrictions on what you can say on Twitter, we would know.
