In celebration of Claiborne Swanson Frank's book American Beauty, Estee Lauder teamed up with Neiman Marcus to hold a nationwide search for women who best represent American Beauty today.  

Vogue Publishing has narrowed down contestants from thousands to just 30.  The 10 with the most votes will become finalists, and one lucky lass will win a flight to New York during Fashion Week to have her portrait taken by Swanson along with other prizes.
