Oct 31, 2011 - by Lester Brathwaite
For its premier perfume, Louis Vuitton has picked a nose that knows. Noted nose, perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, has been tapped by the luxury brand to develop their first fragrance, reportedly using extracts from rare, nearly extinct, flowers.

A third generation nose, Cavallier-Belletrud has lent his award-winning nostrils to Issey Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey, Dior's Addict, Stella McCartney's Stella, Lancôme's Poeme and YSL's Cinema. Work on the new LV scent is slated to being in January 2012 so enjoy your rare, nearly extinct, flowers while you can. [Telegraph]
