Le Baron, the bar favored by the fashionable elite and the occasional Olsen, had a TEEN playing barefoot in a packed house last night. With the whistleblower unanimously silenced, she was given the full nod of approval to play on. The music was too damn good to stop...

That's because TEEN is an all-girl band whose indie sound edges to the positive end of psych rock, droning happily on with power anthem lyrics like, "I'll do it better, I'll do it better, I'll do it better than anybody else, hah!" And they just dropped their first full-length album "In Limbo" this week!

The front-lady/lead guitar/keys player Teeny Lieberson was the red-pedi-barefoot perpetrator (and now you see the name of the band comes from her first name, not their age status). After the set, I let her know how awesome their sound is, but I had to know, does she perform shoeless ALL the time?
