Project: Design! features six of St. Louis ’ hottest clothing designers: Squasht by Lesley Timpe, Paul Gibson, AFV by Ashley Dayley and Felicia Pease, Suzanne Lay and Kayoss Designs by Amy Johnson. The event will be held at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and will be an exhibition of fashion followed by a runway show featuring one of LA’s top independent clothing designers, Rochelle Rodriguez (collection pictured left).
Unlike designers in NYC and LA, St. Louis designers did not have the luxury of local exposure, until now. Project design is an event outlet for up and coming independent designers that need exposure and a chance to sell their items in St. Louis. There will be three Project:Design! events a year. Each event will have a different theme so that designers with different styles will get the chance to showcase their work. Proceeds of each event will go towards making each event bigger and better! Being in the industry of both fashion and PR, Rock Uniform is honored to provide Project: Design! as a stepping stone for St. Louis designers.
