If they're not pure cotton, they're either a cotton-mix or not jeans at all. Look it up. The definition of "raw" denim is that the jeans aren't washed after being dyed or bleached. It has no bearing on quality; only colouring. Once washed and worn, "raw" jeans will achieve the same faded and worn look as their washed brethren. Most companies have both 'washed' and 'raw' variants depending on model. You can look that up, too. The jeans are made of cotton which is the first mistake. Raw denim is the way to go and is going to provide the best quality. Second, the price for these jeans is wayy too much. Their denim is great, I'm not sure outside of denim how good their clothing maybe, but their jeans are top notch. Simple, understated and far from being overplayed like Ed Hardy. I'm a denim purist and love PRPS's attention to detail, quality, and the seriousness behind the cotton they selected for the jeans. I think your being a little too harsh..
