I think the idea is awesome but not really the most environmental friendly. Sure you can use biodegradable substances and all but the "consuming" part is just wrong. They should come up with different designs too and start selling them as cheap designer clothes online for relatively small prices. I'm sure they will make a bang in the designer world.

i agree the markers are a waste of plastic…not very "green" after all. cool idea, not practical. and to clear up the "what is art" debate, it's anything someone makes with the intent to get a message across. you cant just put a "can of pepsi upside down on top of a white tablecloth" and tell people it's art unless there's a reason behind doing that, and a deeper message you're trying to get across by doing it.

Cute but sloppy. Would you really want to go out smelling like a stinky ass marker? People's brain cells will die each time they get close to you. The staining of underwear and other clothing is another down side. And having the markers stick out is tacky and obvious.

I agree with Bryan…and Kate is being a bit cynical..there are people making money of art made of elephant dung….and crappy old pieces of metal welded together…..I think what he's trying to say is there's not a whole lot that ISNT considered art..someone could think seeing a can of pepsi upside down on top of a white tablecloth is art…..it's not about making money..it's about making beauty. Apparently Kate is too shallow and materialistic to realize that.

exactly. Some of the ink stains would be permanent or semi-permanent. Then you'd expect some really weird colour mixtures. I guess anything goes when it comes to art
