Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were feeling the wrath of the dirty thirties. The Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010 menswear collection didn’t just appear to be straight from the working class backs of Dustbowl victims, it brought a little bit of dust along with it. Scuffed boots, dirty, faded slacks and jeans, thermals, wrinkled vests and old-school newsboy caps were just some of the pieces ruminant of those agriculturally devastating days. On the other, more elegant, end of the spectrum were a series of velvet suits and some oversized, ribbed jacket-like sweaters.
