RUNWAY RUNDOWN: Proenza Schouler Fall 2009
The Proenza Schouler Fall 2009 collection is every downtown girl’s dream. Rough tweed coats, fur collared bombers, racing satin dresses, layered turtleneck sweaters and above the knee tweed and camel wool shorts. And could the detailing or accessories get any better? Tie-up paten leather stilettos with wooden heels and zipper detailing were quite the show stopper. Kudos to the stylist who layered the leather watch and chain over sweaters and leather gloves! I absolutely love the shorts over tights trend for next fall (though I was already rocking this look back in September). Watch out designers, Proenza Schouler just set the bar sky high.
