The news is a buzz with mentions that Saks is set to make major cutbacks and possibly layoffs in the next coming months to deal with the economys recent backlah on luxury goods. The mega brand reported a $42.8 million dollar hit this November an amount that has the retailer cutting prices on new inventory and offering one full year of finance charge free shopping for Saks card owners who spend over $2000.
We have good friends at Saks and pray (yes the souless Daniel Saynt does occasionally pray, of course it’s mainly to myself but my fullfillment rate is far better than the almightys) they keep their jobs thru this ordeal.
