Four years ago I started my family. I had a ten pounder!! Needless to say I gained 130 pounds myself. My weight was 262 pounds after I had my son. I finally lost the weight with a very good diet and the gym and ended up around 140 pounds. Sadlly that left me with alot of extra skin so I under went a painful three hour abdomialplasty surgery. I have been home 10 days and im really curoius to see what i will look like in a baithing suit. It's been about four year sence i have worn a two piece. I think this year I might just wear one. Hopefully you pick me to wear your swimsuit.

I was born and raised on an island, but due to the bad economy I have been landlocked in Vermont for over a year, thus, no beach, no new suit. If I were to buy a suit my financial options would restrict me to purchasing some horror from ocean state job lots, or go the thrift route. Thrifting for a bikini is just not as awesome as say, a vintage jacket for obvious reasons. I can also boast that despite working in a carb filled pretzel shop I could bring the glamazon look back if I rocked one of those brazilian bikinis. I keep hoping that Karl Lagerfeld strolls in and I would say to him “Karl, don’t worry, I feel your pain, I’ll make you a salad.”

I deseve to win these because I have not owned a brand new swimsuit since I was in high school. Every swimsuit since then has been a hand-me-down – and tey’re super adorable, so I am dying to see them in person!

Why i deserve the suits: My roommates and I have been diligently working out almost everyday since the beginning of the year. We live in SoCal and decided that to reward ourselves for our hard work we would all buy new swimsuits. My two roomies both just found and bought ones they LOVE. I’ve been looking and looking and can’t find ANYTHING I like. I even bought one (spent way too much) that I’m going to return because I’m not super in love with it. Besides that I’m a recent college grad in debt, who really shouldn’t be spending money on anything besides the essentials. Oh, and I’m the first to comment.
