You’ll have to excuse me, but having just stepped off a plane returning from the Bahamas (hence my week+ hiatus from Fashion Indie), I’m still in the summer/sun mode. With my heart on the beach but my head back in the city, I’ve been struck with the harsh reality that no, I cannot waltz about town in my bikini, hippie tunic, gladiator sandals and aviators. But the fashion god as my witness, this summer I’m going to glam up that free-spirited beach bum and introduce her to the concrete playground.
