SHOP: French Sole Shoes Vanity Flat @ The Shoe BoxLet’s be honest, ballerina flats, which made a huge comeback in 2004, are absolutely everywhere. Every other girl on the street sports the Tory Burch logo flats, or some version of them, making the whole flat trend rather, well, flat. I rarely ever find a decent pair of flats, and although I’m not the biggest fan of the French Sole flats (pictured above), I’m a bit intrigued by the use of cork. Cork, like flats themselves, made a reappearance in the early 1990s, and after almost two decades of keeping it low key in wine bottles and on college dorm walls, cork is, once again, back. These flats are for the more conservative, classic dresser, but throw on a few studs or buckles and I think I’d be sold!
