I know exactly how you feel. Well maybe not exactly (no huge lawsuits in my life recetly.) however the weight and the friends and the life dis-illusionment crap, yeah, I can relate. But seriously, I’m behind you on the whole law-suit issue, I didn’t realize how ridiculously pretentious and ego-maniacal fashion bloggers could be (oh, wait, how naive am I?)
Anyway, I blame everything partly on the season, this time, when its barely winter but not yet spring sucks. Also, listening to more 80′s and bad 90′s music will help, I swear. Plus it promotes dancing, which will help with the whole weight thing. Head up!

Young man, I am not much older then you, however, old enough to feel the burn of looking back on my twenties and accomplishing nothing. Its amazing what you’ve done and what this site is evolving into. Try to look at the various jackals at your heels as a certain measure of success. ditto. i’m turning 26 this year and you just basically wrote out whats in my mind. I blame the fashion industry and spending way too much time on the internet, at least thats what i think is doing it to me. anyways keep on doing what you’re doing…

I don’t know if it will make you feel better, but law school caused me to go up at LEAST two pant sizes. It’s a period of high stress.

Everybody has a period they go through in their life where they are stressed out and gain weight, which in turn makes them feel even crummier than the stress they are under already has. Just don’t worry about it. You won’t always be this stressed, and you’ll get the weight off.

Also, the guest who posted above is a jerk. Nobody with any balls kicks somebody while they’re down already. Just let it roll off your back.

the fact that you’re only 26 (its my 26th birthday this year too) and you’ve accomplished so much, and you’ve still got so much more to do, its fucking phenomenol.

and i totally know what it’s like to feel disconnected with friends, and trying to figure out how to rekindle with them. honestly, i’ve learned that my closest friends, are the people that i don’t have to speak to on a regular basis or see that often but when we get together it’s like not a moment has passed.
