You people DO realize that tabi style shoes (split toe) have been the standard footwear in Japan practically since they have existed, right?

So when you say “Sou Sou shoes are something I, and hopefully the rest of the world, won’t buy into,” first of all you are WAY too late, and secondly it’s somewhat of an insult to the Japanese culture.

Yeah but they don’t look this stupid and just because Margiela is doing it doesn’t make it cool you should know that. Don’t get me wrong I love Margiela, but not everything every designer makes is a hit.
