well you said it is ANN ARBOR, not exacly NY. big deal shes' dressed how many people from small towns are dressed. and to then generalize and say you hate the midwest because you've encountered people dressed in a way that doesn't meet your standards.

so you left the midwest to NY. like thousands of people haven't done the same. do you think because you live in NY and write for this blog you deserve accolades and respect or the right to belittle people from where you grew up? you've mentioned similar things numerous times, i noticed. i like this blog, but damn it's not the holy grail of fashion.

cheap can still be chic, there are plenty of stores and plenty of things that you can find that are still fashionable and probably cost the same as what all of these people were wearing…and i’m only talking about fashion on this site because well…it’s a fashion site..I have a life, it’s writing posts like these. This girl obviously thought that fashion and trends are important because she was having this long conversation about the articles she was reading in Cosmo, which in my opinion, is a completely superficial magazine. If you don’t like bashes, say out of the ‘Zeroes’ section…

Wow, you and your sister should get lives. Maybe you should consider people may not have the financial resources you do to indulge their wardrobes. Another thing to consider, maybe they focus on things more important than labels and fashion. I love fashion, however judging people by what they wear, unknowing of their socio-economic background and capabilities is just plain mean.
