H&M Gets Conscious For Spring

Starting next month H&M will launch a collection which is for women, men and children and made from environmentally – adapted and greener materials such as organic cotton, Tencel® and recycled polyester.

Abbey Lee and Natasha Poly, alongside Clement Chabernaud and Ben Hill, wear key pieces from the all-white collection in the latest campaigns.

Here is a video of the collection being presented by Emily Zak, Executive Retail Editor, Vogue UK; Dilys Williams, Director of sustainable fashion, London College of Fashion; and Catarina Midby, Trend Coordinator, H&M:

Never mind the crappy picture quality, we get a sneek peek into the secret lives of runway models. Freja noshes on a pig-shaped cookie that says sexy beast, Gisele dons lingerie and strategically covers her baby bump with a coat, Abbey stuffs her shirtless self into a kitchen cupboard, Lara gets boobs…. the list goes on. Who knew Twitpics would be so in Vogue?

Although only the first 8 images of this 24 page spread have surfaced I couldn’t wait to post it! This spread is for the September issue, but the summer vibe is still going strong. Greg Kadel uses natural sunlight here to highlight the gorgeous landscape and models and somehow transforms the sequin Gucci leopard print suit into a a garment that could easily be confused for a wet suit.
