What happens when you take some insanely scary clowns to the casino? I’m not terribly sure, but I think designer Adam Kimmel might have an idea. A relatively simple collection of double-breasted velvet suits, some simple slacks, scarves, jackets and jeans compose Kimmel’s Fall 2010 menswear collection. Sporadically embellished with poker references and playing card symbols, the collection is designed for the simpleton who like’s a bit of gambling.

The new collection by Adam Kimmel is oen that follows in the footsteps of everything we have ever seen from him. The lackluster sillouettes, funky patterns and trendy designs is stereotypical Kimmel. I can’t say I’m impressed with him falling in the path of “ordinary models”, but with the concept of his designs and the use of regular model, I can’t knock him for the decision. I like the look, I don’t think the older type people shown in the images will go for it, but if they did they would be draping the pages of The Sartorialist. My next mission is to get my grandpa in something like this!
