It’s amazing what a little contorted posing and photoshop (I’m assuming) can do for an overweight songbird. Adele is the latest chunk monster to get Voguefied. Annie Leibovitz shot this image of the recent Grammy winner, creating a shape that is a far, far cry for her normal build. Arms stretched, laying on the bed angularly while wearing all black and holding your cheek chunk back while trying to look comfortable is not a shape, it’s a yoga move, but it’s definitely not a shape.

Why can’t Vogue take the route of a soon to be more successful magazine (LOVE) and just shoot the fat girls like their fat? What’s so wrong with showcasing a couple rolls?

British soul singer Adele play her part and snagged the Grammy award for best new artist. So, how did Anna Wintour do styling her? Adele walked the red carpet in a custom made Barbara Tfank flared dress and a satin green jacket with tuxedoed Hamish Bowles. Wait…are we sure Wintour styled with Adele in mind or her own personal fashion taste? This looks exactly like something Wintour would wear! Either way, I think the whole look is a bit matronly. The  jacket isn’t exactly flattering and the black/green color combo makes me wonder why Adele is on the red carpet and not the Broadway stage of Wicked. Well Wintour, you tried…and failed. Moral of the story: never try.

Either the woman is taking serious happy pills or had a revelational change of heart, but we all know that Anna Wintour rarely does anything without making someone cry, require a full-time therapist or consider jumping in front of oncoming traffic. But get this (I suggest you sit down)…Anna Wintour actually offered to style British recording artist Adele for the Grammy Awards this Sunday! The singer is up for best record and apparently was approached by Wintour while visiting the Vogue offices for her final fitting (Adele will appear in an upcoming issue of Vogue). The singer, who typically dresses in tights, flats and cardigans is more than ready for Wintour to spice up her style! but be careful, Adele…I hear it burns when she touches your skin…
