FIRST LOOK: Adidas Goes Back To Basics For Fall ’09
Edited by Hillary Frazier

Adidas decided to bring back their classic styles (the Sambas were first introduced back in the 60s) in classic suede for fall. If you’re big on vintage or classic styles, you can pre-order the line at Oki-Ni.

SPREAD UM: Alezandra K And Savannah Hayes By Suzy Poling For M.I.S.S
Edited by Hillary Frazier

Who would have ever thought that Adidas could ever look cool? This spread interestingly shows off a neon line by Adidas, using track jackets as bows and belts, and playing up all things neon with crazy makeup and styling. This shoot is pretty cool, even though I don’t particularly care for neon.
FASHION PORN Adidas Gets Gay with Tim Roders
Edited by Rebecca Alexander

Adidas latest attempt to penetrate the balloon knot of the gay male consumer market has led them to produce American Apparel worthy porn.

This latest spread/ad features Tim Roders, wearing nothing but his Adidas trainers. Wonder if they plan to shoot a similar campaign for those of us not into anal delights?

COLLAB HO: David Beckham for Adidas
Edited by Rebecca Alexander

Following in Jeremy Scott’s and Kazuki’s footsteps is David Beckham with his very own Adidas Originals by Originals collection. The upcoming fall collection was created with the help of James Bond, the owner of the Undefeated sneaker-freak boutiques.
Their design approach was to update classic American sportswear with fashionable silhouettes and details. The apparel range features materials such as leather, cashmere and silk, while the footwear builds on iconic Adidas styles. The duo also developed accessories and thermal layering pieces.
But don’t get too excited, David has no plans of making appearances to promote the line. BOO!

Undressing Jocks Just Got A Whole Lot Easier
Edited by Saynt

So apparently, there’s this custom in sporting culture where you can get people to switch jerseys with you. Adidas and Ford are tapping into this tradition by having jocks swap jerseys on the web. Lots of topless male nudity for the ladies is basically what it boils down to. Can’t wait until they launch a site for jersey swapping female sport stars, like cheerleaders. Here’s the link…

Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals: Fall 2009 Collection
Edited by Corey Moran

Jeremy Scott really knows how to make a statement, and if it wasn’t for him I don’t know that I would even give Adidas the time of day. This latest collaboration for Fall 2009 is amazing from what is pictured above. The crewneck sweatshirts are really great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to throw those teeth lace locks in my combat boots.

PPQ’s Next Collaboration Is With Adidas
Edited by Rebecca Alexander

PPQ loves collaborations… After teaming up with Peaches Geldof and Ben Sherman for collections, designers Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker lined up another — this time with Adidas, for sportswear debuting for fall/winter 2009.
Molyneaux says you can expect to see a mix of PPQ’s party girls with sports, like jumper dresses styled with “brothel creepers.” Kinda exciting!
