Last week, McArthur (Mac as we call him at the office) and I went to the Agnès b. Autumn/Winter 2010 collection press preview. The new collection is gorgeous, I fell in love with the candy pink, red and yellow organza belted mini dresses with puffed sleeves, and the sheepskin sleeveless motorcycle jacket.

Agnes B may not have made her name is fashion, but she is very influential in the world of art. Not content with running her Paris gallery, Gallerie du Jour, and backing films via her 11-year-old production company Love Streams Agnes B. Productions, she is now preparing to shoot her first, self-penned feature film – and admits to being somewhat wary of the dialogue between fashion and art.
“I don’t really know what others are doing. I don’t go anywhere,” she adds. “I love the street, I love watching people. I never go to a fashion show. I never walk into a boutique. I almost never look at fashion magazines, except maybe if there’s one on the train. I’m innocent of what others do, and that’s how I got ahead.”
This is a great way to live life, very independent of everyone and everything around you. Somewhat self centered but def more peaceful and probably more indulging.
