RUNWAY RUNDOWN: Alexi Freeman Spring 2010

Contributing to Melbourne, Austrialia’s fashion scene is Alexi Freeman with her relaxed and somewhat athletic Spring 2010 Collection. My taste never typically leans towards such simple garments, but Freeman’s choice to juxtapose silk and mesh really make a unique statement. I love how the combined  fabrics make the garments appear metallic, almost damp, giving the simples designs an eye catching sheen. Long live monochrome!
