Living Bratz doll Anna Dello Russo has her kooky claw prints all over this editorial, shot by Giampaolo Sgura in arcades and on the streets of Tokyo. The lion heads, the Balmain, the Cavalli, the Versace, the statemenet eyewear and headgear — disco ball motorcycle helmet anyone? — it all speaks to Dello Russo’s fashion-is-fun/more-is-more aesthetic as well as her own personal style. I mean, I’ve feel like I’ve seen the lady herself in a number of these looks, or at least will in the near future. Take a saunter with Aline through the land that Hello Kitty built in “The Girl Who Rocks the Planet.”

Malgosia Bela will span 114 pages in the Spring/Summer ’09 issue of Self Service, her editorial was shot by Mario Sorrenti, styled by Camilla Nickerson. There’s also a double cover of Raquel Zimmermann; the inside editorial featuring Raquel, Eniko Mihalik, Lara Stone, and Dree Hemingway titled “39 Looks,” which spans 66 pages; and Aline Weber’s spread called “The Obsessions.”

Aline Weber graces the cover and stars in a fabulous spread shot by Gui Paganini for the latest issue of Wish Report. The inside photos show a very dead looking Weber dressed fabulously and accompanied by model Thiago Dirigns. I love the mess of designer bags scattered around the stretchers. This sort of reminds me of the Adele video for Chasing Pavements when the two car-wrecked people start dancing and sucking face. Wish Report is a very cool Brazilian magazine I will most definitely be keeping an eye out for in the future. Kudos South America.
