And these are just a few of the differences:

Number of Shows:

Made – 35

MBFW – 98 (81 on-site, 17 off)

Sponsors:

Made – MAC, American Express and Lexus

MBFW - DHL, Maybelline New York, American Express, TRESemmé, W Hotels Worldwide, Fiber One Bars, ideeli, Fiji Water, AriZona Beverages

Designers:

Made - Sophie Theallet, Cushnie Et Ochs, Peter Som, Erin by Erin Fetherston, Billy Reid, Simon Spurr, Ohne Titel, Jeremy Scott, Nahm

MBFW - BCBG Max Azria, Tommy Hilfiger, Nicole Miller, Cynthia Rowley, Derek Lam, Tracy Reese, L.A.M.B., Diane von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson, Tory Burch, Badgley Mischka, Vera Wang, Diesel, Michael Kors, Nanette Lepore, J.Mendel, Milly by Michelle Smith, Anna Sui, Elie Tahari

With Fashion Week just around the corner and all those sponsorship dollars, designer reputations and AmEx black cards floating around, the stage is set for a good ole-fashioned walk-off between Milk Studios and Lincoln Center. id="more-195461">

Winslet explains:

“They want to keep it looking like me and not have it look like me pretending to be a model wearing these clothes. I’m obviously not a model. I’m not the size of a model. I don’t have the face of a model or the shape of a model.”

This is the film queen’s first stint as the face of a fashion house having shilled for American Express and Lancôme in the past. However when the reporter told Kate that the St. John woman was known more for hot flashes than hot pants, she seemed “surprised”:

“To me, it’s fresher than that. It seems fresher than that because of the fabrics. They’re extremely delicate, extremely wearable and very flattering.”

Then she backhanded the reporter and stormed off the set only to realize it was Jersey at which point she began to hysterically cry. Little did she know someone was filming her with their camera phone and her performance is already being considered a huge Oscar frontrunner.[If your getting the need to feel all exclusive, here’s your perfect shot. Edward Bess has created a room service makeup company for 24 hr service 7 days a week. Yes everyone, you can get your makeup done professionally at 4 in the morning. But before you start running for the phone, and your wallets of course, here’s the exclusive catch: The service is only available to those that hold the Bess card pictured above. You can purchase the card in Bergdorf Goodman at an Edward Bess counter, that’s in addition to the cost of a makeup artist, which runs at the small price of $400 per visit.

So if you live in NYC or the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami, the only two places the service is available, get your hands on the Bess, you’ll feel just as important as the black card holder from American Express.
<p
