TrendSpark: The Lob
Behold, the lob, also known as the long bob, which Frédéric Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel is calling the seventies comeback cut of the season. A good option for emphasizing your neck and shoulders, the style (currently worn by Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow and Eva Longoria) relies on a certain choppiness at the ends—so that it appears texturized, rather than blunt—and volume, lots of volume (the idea is soft and full, not sleek). Great way to get a head start on growing that short hair long, this trend is versatile and compliments many different face shapes.
Thanks Style

Christian Gets Some Celeb Exposure

We all know that we’re always wondering what happens to our beloved winners, and high-achieving contestants, of Project Runway once their season splits. Well, here’s the update on Christian. Though he’s recently been hitting a couple bumps in the road, trying to sell pieces from his line, word has it Christian was just awaiting the next best thing! First he was designing pieces for Anne Hathaway and Debra Messing; however, now he’s all ready for those Pussycat dolls. Hmm..not sure where Anne Hathaway, Ms. Messing and the Dolls click, but hey, it’s all about versatility folks.

Moments of Style: Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway looks stunning in this Zac Posen dress that she wore to the premier of ‘Rachel Getting Married’ in London. Love the no neck jewelry supstituted with a chunky bracelet and ring.

Ad-Dict: Anne Hathaway for Lancome
I have never been a fan of Lancome’s fragrances. When searching for a new scent, I skip over this counter completely. But seeing the campaign for Lancome’s newest fragrance, Magnifique, I can’t help but wanting to try it. I’m pretty sure that has something to do with Anne Hathaway being the new face of the brand, as she can do no wrong. She looks fabulous in the ad- that dress fits her like a glove. Maybe on my next fragrance finding excursion, I’ll have to test this one out. Kudos, Lancome, for choosing a fresh enough face for me to try your old-lady perfumes!

Anne Hathaway to Play the White Queen
Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter has just joined Alice in Wonderland. Anne is playing the White Queen, a benevolent monarch who is deposed and banished by her sister, the Red Queen (Carter), who has an affinity for crying out, “Off with their heads!” Sounds exciting!
