Nicky Hilton Tweeted this photo over the weekend, with the caption “Love my new Jimmy Choo Uggs!” Yes, you read correctly: as we told you back in January, Jimmy Choo actually collaborated with the Australian sheepskiner on this $795 boot. At that price, and with cheesy star studding, this gaudy leisure boot is truly one that only a Hilton sister could love. Nicky’s been a fashion victim before, and with this ugly pair in her arsenal, she’s sure to be a subject of our red carpet re-do’s all fall.

Over the knee boots are hands-down our favorite fall shoe trend this year, and these Jeffrey Campbell Lubbock Black Suede ($156, down from $240) are super sexy and already marked. You cannot beat that.

Pair these Cole Haan ‘Air Liberty’ Flat Boot ($298) with skinny jeans and you are good to go for outdoor events, shopping, brunch – you name it.

These Steve Madden Bonanza ($79.95) slip on easily, are made of a super-soft slouchy suede, and have a rounded toe and heel that make them super comfortable and all-day wearable. If you can’t tell, I have a pair and live in them.

Comfy Cardigans, innocent 4 year old prints, fabulous dresses with geometric cuts…? Um, yes… Those are basically my three go to’s when looking for a basic for myself. I have more oversized cashmere and cable knit sweaters than I can fit in my closet… and I wear them all!! Always searching for more to add to my collection too. Well, Australian designer Karla Spetic’s A/W 2010 Collection is utter perfection to me. I could completely snag each of these pieces below. I really adore how she gets away with these silly prints while keeping her silhouette modern. I like to dress girly sometimes but keeping the silhouette and cut a little on the edgier side is definitely preferable and she nails it here on these dresses and over coats. New obsession for me for sure! Love love love this collection. Off to more of my lazy Saturday night in with my beau. Hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend!

In those days the fashion was all about: parachute sportswear jackets, shell-toes, air maxes, Air 180s, Nike structures, huraches, Lacoste, Jag, Country Road bags and embroidered jumpers, Sportscraft, Polo, Guess jeans, tailored shorts, tennis wears, Caribee backpacks, Jazz and New West aftershave, Kangols, Stussy, puffer jackets and vests, checkered/tartan button-ups, Timberland boots, Jordan and other fly shit too. 

*These were the days before: the internet, graffiti t-shirts, graffiti spray paint brands, special paint caps, digital cameras, every man and his dog emceeing about beer and bitches…and the death of vinyl deejays.

These were the days of: swapping flix through snail mail, TDK tapes, walkmans, catching loops to thrash insides, 30 ml markers, raven oil, making mix-tapes, underage drinkin’ in the park, The Source, Rap Pages, Hip Hop Connection, Sprayed Conflict, Melbourne cops trashing pieces, Blitzkrieg, Recovery, IGT, Hype, Central Station, Zest, Vapours, Yo! MTV raps, going to good hip hop clubs to hear ragga, funk and hip hop,local releases only on tape and vinyl, Plasticotes, touch-ups, Krylons, Snapple, secondhand bargains, rolling cats in the city for their sneakers and racking everything in sight before the big stores got with the program.

across mainstream and high fashion for over a decade, they are passionate about high
quality affordable style and share a detailed approach to luxurious fabrication and

Natasha Ivachoff has had a long history in the Australian fashion industry after
successfully running much loved and fondly remembered Pigsinspace from the mid 90s.
After Pigsinspace, she established herself as a design consultant working and
collaborating on both seasonal and long-range projects for many brands and apparel
companies both locally and internationally.
Since relocating to Shanghai in 2008, Natasha is a founding partner of Central Studios
(www.centralstudios.cn), out of which she operates her design studio working on local
creative projects, as well as Campaign.
Campaign sees Ivachoff back at the helm of her own label together backed by the
design inspiration of Pat Supsiri.
Aside from being an early collaborator from the Pigsinspace days, Pat has built a name
as a leading fashion illustrator working with a select group of designers from Sydney, LA
and Bali. More recently, Pat has been nurturing his other passion of photography and is
responsible for much of the Campaign imagery.

The new “Seafarer” collection from Australian company One Luv is a tribute to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, Treasure Island and pays homage to the wild seas with intricate jewelry that are working timepieces. The quirky collection also has playful pieces like a miniature bulb that turns on and a miniature Rubik’s cube you can actually solve showing that One Luv knows how to get a Hell Yeah from the pack.

Breaking the mould isn’t just a goal at One Luv, it’s their rule of design. Since its establishment in 2004, One Luv’s designer Dina Ochwada has been creating innovative, fresh pieces that have made local media and outlets take notice…..

A brand I totally can’t afford but who always bring out dope cruise-wear and nautical inspired shit is Chanel…but  more affordable brands like Lacoste and chain-stores are always putting out cute stuff too, not forgetting thrift stores also!

The HBO star’s book “The G-Strategy” is apparently already getting rave reviews from his friends who are calling it “gospel”.

He describes his audience as, “Predominantly with men, it’s more the finance-type world. With those, you’ve got the Wall Street guys that lap up anything that’s a chance to make a quick buck. And then with the women, I guess it’s sort of the more…emotional sort of type stuff that’s gonna make you happy.”

Ryan plans to pitch the book to Oprah for a chance to be on the show. Expect the guide to hit shelves in September.
