Macy’s Hitting Below the Belt in Martha Stewart Lawsuit

Proceedings are under way in the case of Macy’s v. Martha Stewart Living and it’s already getting ugly with the former bringing up the latter’s prison record and referring to rival J.C. Penney as a “less upscale retailer.”  Meanwhile, sounds like someone got a few high profile diffusion lines and thinks they’re ballin’ like Barneys all of a sudden.

Virtual Statues of Daphne Guinness to Go on Display in Paris Department Store

Daphne Guinness is going on display once again. But this time it’s not a window performance piece at Barneys nor an exhibit dedicated to her enviable collection of couture. Paris department store Printemps has teamed with the heiress and photographer Nick Knight‘s SHOWstudio to create virtual mannequins of Guinness for their store windows, using photographic images rendered using cutting-edge three-dimensional scanning technology.
