Giampaolo Sgura captured actress Monica Bellucci and model Bianca Balti in the midst of familial bliss for Dolce and Gabbana‘s spring 2012 womenswear campaign, while Mariano Vivanco offers a nostalgic take for menswear with actors Giuseppe Fiorello, Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Thomas Trabacchi, Primo Reggiani and Chiara Francini spending some sepia-toned time whooping it up with the relatives.

H&M Lingerie Channels Angels for the Latest Ad Campaign

H&M must have taken inspiration from the Victoria’s Secret Angels for its latest lingerie campaign; do these images scream VS to anyone else? Bianca Balti and Heather Marks show off the latest collection, dominated by satin and lace separates with a few printed robes thrown in for good measure. Though expertly photographed by Peter Gehrke, it’s obvious to see the retouchers darkened a few shadows to give an unrealistic expectation of the cleavage you’ll get with these bras. The emerald jewelry is to die for, but I would have put her in two pieces rather than three. Women should definitely take a few notes from Bianca when wanting to dress elegant – she is a vision of poise and beauty.

Shot by legendary photography phenom Patrick Demarchelier, the photos are FIERCE. The hairstyles (the real stars of the editorial) and makeup are reminiscent of the 80s. One of the beauties sporting loose curls reminds me of the “The Breck Girl” while another has Jessica Rabbit-esque waves. The makeup is bold and bright, just how I like it. Overall a fabulous spread…
