Not realizing that the bike is the “new fashion icon” we opted to go to Target instead of searching on Craigslist (still searching so let me know if you’re selling a bike). Today I found this article on Uber written by Susan M. Kirschbaum on how cool bikes really are:

They get us where we’re going without requiring gasoline, keep us in shape and will now be celebrated at this weekend’s film festival as an “instrument of style.”
<p

The festival itself moves through seventeen cities worldwide. An exhibition called “Dear Velo” that showcases several modern artists interprets the bike as an instrument of style. Artists in the show that runs until Monday, include Phil Frost, Amy Franceschini, Grace Yung Ting Teng, and Tom Sachs, brand bastardizer.<span
