Set Phasers on Stunning: The 10 Hottest Robots of All-Time

It’s officially the future, but color us disappointed. We’ve got a black president, handheld computers and weapons of mass destruction, but what about what else was promised to us by sci-fi films and Saturday morning cartoons. We see nary a flying car. But more importantly, where are the robots, the androids and the bionic men and women? On the one hand, they’re the harbingers of humankind’s downfall. But on the other, they’re the sexy, sentient superbeings here to fulfill our every desire. A good idea in theory, but amazingly creepy in practice.  These robots, however, keep our hope of a future rife with robosexual adventure alive and mechanically kicking.

With the wedding of a British Kate comes FashionIndie‘s inevitable wedding gown predictions. Though lacking the hysteric speculation surrounding Kate Middleton and her inevitable Alexander McQueen gown, Kate Moss‘ wedding this weekend to Jamie Hince will be a major fashion moment. Not only the supermodel’s first stroll down the aisle, but if rumor truly does have it Moss will wear a dress by longtime friend, John Galliano. If she does, it will no doubt be beyond epic and possibly the beginning of the embroiled designer’s comeback. But while we’re eagerly awaiting Kate’s wedding day, here are some possible choices she might employ for Mosstock.

Manish Arora’s Tricks Aren’t for Kids

For his Fall 2011 show, Manish Arora had a magician on hand who through acts of prestidigitation and legerdemain (TRICKS!) conjured models out of nowhere, sawed them in half and even took them through the fire. But the real spectacle was on the runway, where Arora’s woman walked (beautifully) an almost nonexistent line between animé and Blade Runner.
