I really had no idea that celebrities got paid to sit front row at Fashion Week! You’d think that it was more pleasure then business for them, but I guess I was way wrong, getting photographed at the tents IS just as publicity worthy as a club opening! Actresses Blake Lively and Angelina Jolie were both seen wearing the same design by Michael Kors—one in bright fuchsia, the other wearing the dress in black leather. Rumor has it that after Angelina was spotted wearing it, the dress sold out.

I really like the design the way Blake Lively wore it—the color is more unique and the nude shoe allows all of the attention to be focused on the dress. Angelia Jolie looked lovely as well, in the tougher-leather look, though. So, who do you think pulled it off better?

Even though it looks like Blake is wearing leggings, she’s actually rocking thigh high boots (from Stella McCartney). Not sure how comfortable these are, but they look great!

Our favorite Gossip Girls need to look good both on-camera and off, but only one upper-east-sider did themselves justice last night. We applaud Blake’s fashion-forward choice to wear Stella McCartney’s divine perforated thigh-high boots to Eric Daman’s Party – they make her legs look like the go on for ages! We wish we could say the same about Leighton’s look. Sadly Meester got it all wrong with the mesh blazer, the sheer pink sweater, and the bodycon paisley print skirt. Even those Balenciaga heels look out of place. Well, even Blair Waldrof has off days…

Oh and Michelle Trachtenberg? She played it safe. Boring. Although we do like her necklace.

Okay I get it! It’s sexy, revealing, and was, for while, original. But come on! It’s OVER! Enough you Lady Gaga copycats, please find another trend to imitate! (more…)
