RANDOM COOL: 3-D Glasses

RANDOM COOL: 3 D Glasses random cool shitI love 3-D movies, and when i saw My Bloody Valentine in 3-D  (should I admit that? I guess it’s a little late now…) I was impressed with the upgraded black Ray Ban-esque frames they handed out – no more awkward paper red and blue geeky lenses. But these Bless aviators are a million times better.  Increased comfort and style in the same purchase? 100% Approved.

Bless: Fall 2009 Collection menswear designers

Drum on drummer boy, the new Bless Fall 2009 collection is definitely one to be excited about. The collection is packed full of large draping tops, and features an insane looking fur poncho. Each piece is very well done, and looks are very unique. I’m excited for Fall already and it isn’t even Summer yet!

DESIGNER TO KNOW: Bless menswear designers

Bless is a company that I don’t think I have ever heard of until now (I’m getting old, my mind is going). Regardless, I love the comfort aspect of the new Spring collection that Bless is sewing up. The pieces look light weight and comfy, and the baggier fit allows for a little breathing room. Loves it!

Thanks Is Mental

If you’re looking for something offbeat but casual enough to lounge in, then progressive-minded designer Peter Wiesmann is your man. The emerging German talent has worked for Bless and participated in the 2007 edition of the Hyères Fashion & Photography Festival, but now turns his attention to his own line of menswear.

Wiesmann transforms everyday garments that are usually taken for granted into ironic and conceptual works of wonder: his silk t-shirts fall listlessly when worn and have only one seam running along the shoulder; beach board shorts are cut in multicolored circular panels; tracksuits are made out of marbled satin; and a pair of overly distended jeans fits all sizes thanks to an adjustable waistband.
