After viewing all 78 utterly gorgeous looks from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 show, we indies realized it’s the only pre-fall line actually worth paying attention to. Guests sat at a luxe high tea at Chanel’s Bombay-inspired spectacle held at the Grand Palais. Though Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by Indian men’s clothes, the garments were utterly feminine. And to my absolute personal delight, bling bling chains attaching nose rings to earrings are Kaiser approved. Transport yourself to another world in the gallery below.

I took the time to wind my watch ahead as well, a task that, for many young folks, is a lost art. But time pieces are back and better than ever, so why not spring ahead this season with a little wrist candy? I got the chance to see some of the very best watches from five acclaimed brands last week, and I guarantee you’ll find two or three you can’t live without.

BCBGMaxAzria

Surfers need bling too, right? This practical and chic watch from the Shark Bling collection features genuine crystal, a colored display and high gloss durable polyurethane strap.

Katy Perry’s Lips Crusted With Crystals Instead of Russel Brand

To celebrate an ongoing holiday tradition, Harper’s Bazaar today revealed a special, limited edition Swarovski Elements-encrusted December 2010 issue.

The issue’s cover photograph, an extreme close-up taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, focuses on Perry’s red lips, which have been covered in 150 ruby-colored Swarovski Elements. In the Zinio edition, motion graphics create sparkle and shine and a behind-the-scenes video of Perry’s cover shoot.
