That fall chill is in the air once again, and we’re glad to take our leather jackets and trench coats out of the closet. As the nights begin to get colder with each passing week, it’s almost time to break out our fall coats. Though we’re not quite ready for the heavier outerwear to come out in full force, these 25 fantastic coats just might change our minds.

Browns has been an English institution for four decades now. Mrs. B isn’t one to let an occasion like that go under-celebrated. For the store’s 40th anniversary, the pioneering retailer—who brought Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Sonia Rykiel to England and was an early booster of Hussein Chalayan and Marios Schwab—put together an exhibition, opening tomorrow, of 40 Browns “ambassadors” in finery pulled from its archives. Paolo Roversi shot Marc Jacobs in Halston (above), Eva Herzigova in Mark Fast, and Ann Demeulemeester in her own collection (both below), among many others. And as for Mrs. B herself? The lady chose Marni for her close-up (bottom, left).

£450… Well Worth It!

So yesterday I did my little $495…Well Worth It post, which basically was an item that was ridiculously over priced but so cool you had to have it. Well today I found an even bigger outrage! These amazing distressed sneaker/boots by Ann Demeulemeester are cool enough to be £450 but they are in no way worth it. If i could afford these you could guarantee they would be on my feet right now! If you want to rub my economic situation in my face and purchase these cool shoes, head over to Browns and order away!
