Although there will be no front row, QVS is streaming a live show for their 3 season at fashion week on Feb 13th. Lines such as Rachel Zoe for QVC and Isaac Mizrahi will be showcased. This email was apparently sent out as an explanation:
As you may already know the QVC Show is a live broadcast and we do not do the conventional seating at the fashion show. Also, if you and a guest would like to view the actual show the reason why we can not put you front row is because you are stuck to stay the entire show since it is a live broadcast without commercials. However, we can escort you and your guest inside and have seats that you will definitely have prime viewing. These seats will allow you to go in and out of the show at your leisure.

First of all, it is my opinion that celebrity designers should NOT show at the Tents at all, I think it’s an insult to the industry and takes the spotlight away from talented designers who have worked long and hard for the chance to present at fashion week. That is why when I hear that the Kardashian sisters are set to show their Bebe line I want to cringe and boycott Mercedes Benz totally. These untalented media whores are on the OFFICIAL calendar in between TSE and Derek Lam, which pisses me off beyond belief. How can Fern Mallis allow this?

Erin Wasson is bringing her first runway show at Bryant Park’s biggest Tent venue to 1,100 guests.
The show, which is for both her RVCA line and her Low Luv jewelry collection, is set for Friday, Sept. 12 at 8 pm and will feature both a multi-media installation and a “special musical guest to play live on the catwalk.”
