Like to keep on the up and up about new NY designers? You must! You’re here on FashionIndie. Well, a new shopping website has cropped up, seemingly especially for us. Up & Wear is establishing itself as the place to go to shop emerging NY designers. It’s a platform for these brands to grow, and for shoppers to dig into quality, and often one-of-a-kind pieces, often handmade here in NYC. They are adding a new designer every week ; just watch their designer and product list grow! Right now, it’s all bags and jewelry, but in a matter of weeks, they’ll be adding clothes to the mix. Juxtaposing curvilinear movement with contrasting industrial and organic silver elements, Brynn Hudson interprets an Art Nouveau sensibility into all of her handcrafted jewelry. Channeling an ‘artist/architect’ aesthetic, as seen in the work of Henry van de Velde and Hector Guimard, Brynn Hudson’s bracelets, necklaces and earrings focus on simple construction and bold statements.

Brynn uses sterling silver as her primary medium, and incorporates jewel-tone Swarovski crystals and fan shaped beads to create patterns that are artistically chic and elegant. Textures include soft, satiny tones contrasted subtly with a brushed muted finish.

Standout pieces include a bracelet of Swarovski Crystal briolette beading intertwined with braised silver wavy discs and a necklace of chunky bushed sterling silver beading connected with a sterling silver toggle clasp. Retail price point ranges from $50-$670.
