Videography: Britney Spears

Edited by

It’s Britney, bitch. The lady Spears shimmied along in 1998, following in the syncopated dancesteps of Janet and Madonna to become a pop culture icon in her own right. Like those enterprising queens, Brit employed a series of reinventions throughout her career and suffered a few bumps along the way, but she’s back and still churning out the hits nearly 15 years later. Let’s take a tour of Britney Spears’ greatest — and most questionable — video looks.

roundUP: 9 Spring Statement Shoes (read: bright, happy heels)

Edited by

The statement is that Spring has come early. Or that winter never really came. Either way, we’re doubly ready for the new breed of neons that are sprinkled with sherbet, the black and white/clear zigging and zagging, and the wedges that will set us over the edge of spring fever. Better yet? These shoes make far greater statements than that of the weather; they will express your sheer contentment and stunning outlook.

Edited by

Extra! Extra! Read all about the 1940s grownup newsboy look at Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012. Belted and bowed over bulbous pockets, the first looks are good for stowing the papers and storing that cash you pick up on your route. DROOOOOL. That is what’s happening as we look at these Burberry Prorsum Beaded Leather Sandals, wishing the office was somewhere tropical where they so rightfully belong. Monika Sawicka is One Wild Woman for Tush Magazine

Edited by

Decked out in leather, fur and head-to-toe animal print, Monika Sawicka stars in “Upper Wildside” for Tush Magazine‘s issue #28. Expertly captured by photographer Txema Yeste, black and white pictures deliver sullen cheekbones for miles in and a blurred line of where garments end and city begins. Bernat Buscato set the mood with Valentino, Burberry Prorsum and J. Mendel, some sheer enough to read a runny newspaper. The drama would be less without striking hair by Akki Shirakawa and nearly skeletal makeup by Tyron Machhausen.
