Prada‘s new fashion film is practically dripping in Oscars…and probably some weird sexual kinks. Directed by Roman Polanski (guilty on both fronts), Sir Ben Kingsley plays psychiatrist to Helena Bonham Carter before shirking his shrink duties to drape himself in her Prada purple puffer jacket. It seems that Prada has given the doctor a fuzzy case of ADD in A Therapy.

The CFDA Awards red carpet fell somewhere in between Grammy gauche and Oscar opulence. I thought there would be more formal, black-tie, floor-grazing-gown business à la the Met Ball, but some people showed up in jeans while there was enough leg on display to put KFC out of business. But the fashion grab bag of last night’s red carpet provided a few hits, a ton of misses and then of course there was the Gaga factor.

Could it be that Leonardo DiCaprio swooned upon seeing Blake Lively‘s red hair because it reminded him of Kate Winslet circa Titanic? Does he want to recreate those magical moments with her on a boat in France minus the pain and suffering of drowning in the ice-cold Atlantic? Gossip Girl queen and most recently Chanel princess Blake Lively struck a pose in this barely there Chanel skirt (dress?) at the haute couture house’s Cruise collection show last night in Cannes. Although easier than exiting a car door, we wonder what cameras caught a TMI glimpse when she was perched in the front row. I’ve always loved Michelle Williams, and I’m usually not a fan of short cut on women, but she looks gorgeous in Cannes for the photo call for her new movie “Blue Valentine.” Her look is pretty simple but she’s my favorite from the festival!
