Nicki Minaj Steals Blue Ivy’s Thunder in Vogue

Edited by

While Vogue explores Nicki Minaj‘s costumed place front row at shows like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera (“so regal and special”), FashionIndie explores photographer Steven Klein‘s blue shot (photoshop or makeup?) in the March issue. Trying to get in the family with Beyoncé and Jay-Z? Auditioning for the Blue Man Group? Battling Katy Perry for the role in Smurfs 2? The Fall 2012 Silhouette is a Natural Cinch

Edited by

Belts have come up and down, all around, and in some seasons have disappeared altogether. Edited by

Drop the waist low, fringe it forward, jazz it art deco and you’ve got Gucci Spring 2012. Frida Giannini turned out 20s in Milan, and she was not the only designer to do so this fashion week – think Marchesa, Temperley London, Carolina Herrera and others. However, in a remarkable coincidence (?) in which Giannini insists she was merely musing over NY skyscrapers of that time period, it also happens to be Gucci’s 90th birthday (bust out those calculators, ladies). Be that as it may, there’s an undeniable air of flapper in the air. See Gucci’s best roaring looks from yesterday’s show.
