Let’s start with the best of the Derby, the Southern Belles who embodied the spirit of the event in a tasteful and classic manner.

Johnny Weir is the winner of best dressed! He looks amazing in his dandy ensemble and gorgeous oversize hat.

Ashley Simpson looks absolutely adorable (something I don’t get to say very often) in her cloche hat, pearls and polka dots. It’s 1922 at the Derby and she is in high style. But I wish she would have put her hair up.

I love this bright periwinkle dress Jaime Pressly chose to pair with her dark hat and shoes. But I can’t tell if the dress is wrinkled or not, which is a little irritating to the eye.

Doesn’t LeAnn Rimes embody the spirit of the Derby perfectly? I really adore the floral mini dress and how the ribbon on her elegant straw hat matches it to a T. I would have done a different shoe, but that’s me.

Joey Fatone is certainly N*SYNC with the festivities (forgive me, it’s Friday and I’ve already started with the juleps). Give me red roses and feathers any day of the week.

This is a very special photo that will take us from the best dressed at the Derby to the worst dressed. Kim Kardashian looks absolutely gorgeous. Her look is sexy and sophisticated, and I especially love the hat and wrist gloves. Brava, Kim.

Kris Kardashian on this other hand looks a mess. This dress is not flattering on her and the patent leather stripper shoes were a poor choice for the event. AND I could make a leather tote bag out of her sun damaged skin. Bad, bad, bad.

God in heaven, save us from the evil that is Brooke Shields‘ hat. It seriously looks like her whiny kids made it for her in school – a failed attempt on Brooke’s choice to wear it and the children for being poor crafters. And I think I had this same dress when I was five, so maybe she borrowed it from her daughters too?

I was a little torn here, because all of these hats are fabulous. Kenda look bangin’, she is actually one of the best dressed in my opinion. HOWEVER, where in Satan’s hell did Bridget and Holly get those dresses? Macy’s junior department prom section is about on par with these disasters, couldn’t they get anything better? Wait, probably not. Hef also looks pretty fly for a 200-year-old man.

An all black outfit to the Derby? Are you f*cking kidding me Gabrielle Union? In the words of Carrie Bradshaw‘s unfortunate party girl friend Lexi Featherston, “I’m so bored, I could die.”

And here it is, the absolute worst outfit of the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Bethenny Frankel opted for a light pink seersucker jumpsuit with matching ruffle, side tail and hat. But I think the lollipop is what pisses me off the most. It kind of looks like she wrapped herself in a baby blanket, no?

Audigier would land on this list just for creating Ed Hardy, but religiously wearing it only cements his inclusion.

3. Vivienne Westwood

You know Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons? Dye her hair Carrot Top orange, throw her in a combat boot and call her Vivienne Westwood.

4. John Galliano

I’m less offended by his ringing endorsement of Hitler than by his penchant for gay pirate dandyism.

5. Kate Mulleavy

Turns out you can go wrong with all black, whereas a pop of color and a show of effort are always in fashion.

6. Jeremy Scott

Scott’s look says to me “Club kid who kept partying long after the trash was swept up” only Scott then rummaged through said trash for this jacket.

7. Patricia Field

Though she practically single-handedly created the fashion icon known as Carrie Bradshaw, Pat Field can give off too a bit too much sex in the city. Though kudos for rocking that Jessica Rabbit red hair better and before Rihanna.

8. Anna Sui

I saw Anna Sui on the street the other day…though it could’ve been a bag lady. Either way her China Bang was stunning.

9  Karl Lagerfeld, Perhaps a controversial choice, but the gay vampire look sometimes leaves me…cold.

10. Betsey Johnson

There’s nothing I want more than to see Betsey Johnson doing cartwheels in a ballerina tutu at age 90. Just because it’s bad doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel good.

- Dov Charney no longer holds the majority share in American Apparel after an influx of cash last week from a group of Canadian funders, including private investor Michael Serruya. Unlike everyone else in the world, Serruya has confidence in the American Apparel brand and in Dov Charney, whom he thinks is the victim of a “shakedown,” in reference to that whole sex slave thing. - Are your alarms set? Are your puffy-sleeved gowns steamed and at the ready? The Royal Wedding is tomorrow, meaning that people might stop doing creepy things like tattooing their front teeth with Prince William‘s and Kate Middelton‘s likenesses, or spending 490 bucks (or three easy payments of 163 bucks)  for a vinyl doll bearing the Issa engagement dress seen round the world (as soon as that wedding dress debuts, however, that doll is getting an upgrade). But there’s perhaps nothing creepier– or…classier? —  than slipping on some royally-inspired latex to get it on in the boudoir. Though for $13, I’d expect more than three lousy Will and Kate Jimmyhats — I’m ready to consummate all over that couple. [Fashionista]

1. Spying on your man in church. You never know when pulling a Carrie Bradshaw and spying on your own Mister Big is going to take you into God’s house. Make sure you’re prepared with wrist gloves and a Sunday hat that will knock his mother off her pew. For a colorful, sophisticated look, try Linea Large Brim Spikey Feather Hat, Nordstrom ‘Drama’ Wide Brim Straw Hat and Kaliko Bright Pink Straw Bow Hat.

2. Cruising on a doomed ship. Vacationers on the Titanic didn’t know about their impending fate, so they were all riding the fabulous high horse. But you don’t need to choose a sinking ship to look as remarkable as they because these fine boating hats will do just fine. For a more traditional look, try the Linea Stripe Bow Tilted Hat or John Lewis Women Stripe Floppy Hat with Bow. If you want a modern take for your summer boating adventures, Vans I’m on a Boat Straw Boater and Eugenia Kim Honey Striped Toyo Sun Hat are great options.

3. Shopping. A lady would never have entered Tiffany & Co. without a hat in Audrey Hepburn’s day – how slovenly! Channel your inner socialite while perusing the Goodwill by covering that risque head of yours. Either the Louis Vuitton Mink Bell-Hat, Vintage 1960 Black & White Sparkle Bow Cloche Hat or Brenda Lynn Audrey Hat will do.

4. At the doctor’s office. If anyone knows how to seduce, it’s Sophia Loren, especially when she is after a man playing hard to get. You too can feel sexy and chic getting your yearly check-up by channeling her look ala The Millionairess. These will all look fabulous with your corset: MARKET Red Floppy Hat, Brenda Lynn Milan Boater Hat, French Connection Spice Blush Floppy Hat and Nordstrom Floppy Ribbon Sun Hat.

5. Boozing. Hats, headbands, it’s all the same in casinos and speakeasies. Breaking boundaries with nonpareil style, flappers knew how to look fantastic while drinking the Devil’s elixir. Though not quite hats, these hairpieces will get you the look and the swagger. Try Colette Malouf Mesh Puff Flower Crocodile Clip, Zara 1920s Style Headband, Dorothy Perkins Brown Feather With Bead Centre Stretch Headband or Mother Plucker Red and Purple Side Feather Headband and get your drank on.

6. Mourning the loss of ruined winter shoes. It happens to us every year in the land of snow, sleet and freezing rain. We sacrifice a pair of shoes to keep our feet dry and warm. Although tragic, you can mourn your favorite defunct footwear in style by channeling superstar mob wives like Carmela Soprano, Sandra Corleone and Rosalie Aprile. Black and dramatic is the way to go with styles like these: Misaharada Valeska Hat, Comme des Garçons Bow Detail Hat and Lanvin Swarovski Crystal Pin-Embellished Straw Hat.

7. Frolicking and/or walking on water. Wouldn’t we all love to live in Mary Poppins’ wonderful world of animated fantasy? The answer is obviously yes. And although this may not be possible in a city as grimy as New York, you can still frolic about, wherever you are, in a bonnet of fantastic allure. Kokin White Rose Feathered Silk Hat, Bonnets 1870′S Bandeau Hat and Vintage Vine and Big Blossom Straw Hat will have you flying high like the whimsical Poppins herself.

Already the newest face of Chanel and always seen wearing Louboutins, Lively would be a perfect match to play a young Carrie. She’s a little bit tall for the part, but otherwise, what a perfect match!

Yes they were dressed in over-the-top designer duds but is that even cool anymore? In the ten + years since the show has gone off the air, we’ve seen the rise of Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, American Apparel, “it” girls like Erin Wasson and Agyness, and stars like Alison Mosshart and MIA. At this point Carrie running around in a turban and Samantha in a red dress with spiked shoulders just looks circus costumes gone wrong. Their ensembles were so over-the-top I felt like I was watching rejects from the gay pride parade. Or the Meatpacking District. When the show first aired it was a revolution. It was a revolution for fashion, feminism, and the city of New York itself. But while the rest of us have moved on, Carrie and the girls are stuck on their own fabulousness (you too Madonna). Ladies it’s a wrap.

Sex and the City 2 opens with a lavish gay wedding between Carrie’s gbf (gay best friend) and Charlotte’s gfb. Towelroad sad down with the ladies to chat about their feelings towards the controversial subject. Check out the video after the jump.

After watching SATC2, Becks and I have come to the conclusion that much like Batman Begins provided a refreshing and much needed reset on the Batman mythos, the girls are in desperate need of a MAJOR MAKEOVER!!! Not everyone in the office agrees, but that’s not stopping us from asking your opinion. So, do you think the series needs a reboot? What would you do to make it better?

We’re not sure if we should endorse such a brave piece of fashion, since so few woman can successfully make this work, but we just can’t help it when it comes to all things Sex, so wear at your own risk. LINK LOVE:TRIVIAL PURSUIT

For all of you who know me, or at least read FashionIndie regularly, you know that my obsession with Sarah Jessica Parker (as Carrie Bradshaw or any other character) is unparalleled. My love for Sex and the City is up there as well. As much as I marveled at the first movie, loving every big screen second, nearly every minute of the SATC 2 was painful and strained as I watched the “sparkle” slowly die in my favorite characters.

Don’t get me wrong, there was no way I wasn’t going to watch this second attempt at screen time for my favorite New Yorkers, but the script seemed so forced that all the lavishness (and there was tons of lavishness) in the movie could not keep me entertained. The drama was lacking, the clothes were disappointing, and the decor was overdone…as Carrie kept trying to keep the “sparkle” in her marriage, I struggled to find sparkle in the movie. On top of that, unnecessary cameos were forced on the viewer, including an old Liza Minnelli (who Saynt insists was rocking a computer generated body), an annoying Miley Cyrus, and an overacted (and yet still underused) Penelope Cruz (who should have just played herself).

Each character dealt with her own issues: Charlotte with her husband enticing bra-less Irish nanny, Miranda with her woman-hating boss, Carrie with an aging Big and the prospect of a 5-day love life, and Samantha, who was trying to overcome menopause and trying to keep her labia luscious. All in all, the drama was about as flat as Carrie’s puns and tired jokes.

A gay wedding, a trip to Abu Dhabi and the reappearance of an old fling just couldn’t give this movie the dose of “Sex” most woman have come to expect from this movie series that, like Big and Carries marriage and Charlotte’s kid, has hit the Terrible Twos.  Hopefully, the girls take this chance to hang up their Louboutin’s and give this series a rest.

I’d say skip this, unless of course you’re just going for the clothes, to which I’d suggest a healthy dose of 5th Avenue window shopping. It’s cheaper and will take less time than this 2:20 window into a future lush with menopause, camel toe and sexless nights.

With Sex and the City 2 around the bend – May 27, ladies! – we thought it would be fun to reminisce about all the amazing fashion moments from the show. Let’s kick things off with the one, the only Carrie Bradshaw! There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe this woman’s impeccable, risk-taking flair. She constantly pushed her style to another level, yet never took it to a kooky place. From crop tops to Manolos, fur coats to Fendi, Carrie provided an endless amount of eye candy, insurmountable inspiration. Here’s to her fearless fashions. It’s as if everything else disappears for a moment, and the world goes silent and—I can’t explain it except to say that nothing else existed. I don’t remember anything but the blanket on the bed that they were lying on and my husband’s face and their faces and my sons. It’s literally as if sound is sucked from the room. Time stands still. Sex and the City getting older: “We’re still playing—uh, I don’t know how old Carrie is! Is she about 42 now? I think Carrie’s younger than I [Parker is 45], and Miranda and Charlotte are younger than they are in real life. Samantha was always the older lady, so she’s 52 now and talks a lot about what comes with that. In the movie. Talks about menopause. Comedically.”

Her introduction to New York and Halston: “I came to New York originally in 1976, and then I got this part in Annie around the corner from Studio 54. I was a little girl, and for some reason they always invited the cast of Annie to Studio 54, so there I was at thirteen and fourteen, and the doorman would usher us in, literally underneath his arms. And it was 1977 in New York City, and you couldn’t be alive and not know the name Halston.”

Her new position with Halston “There was every reason to say no, and there were very compelling reasons to say yes…. It’s an exciting time at that company. It has had some false starts that are well documented and it is relaunching itself. It has a wonderful legacy, and I couldn’t say no.”

If you were checking out SJP’s bejeweled wrist last night and you noticed something a bit astray, don’t worry you weren’t alone. When dozens of people realized that the uppermost bracelet on the actress’ wrist wasn’t moving they concluded that the star had sprung for Peter Phillips’ temporary tattoos. Not sure the tattoo was necessary, but leave it up to Sarah Jessica to model something different. I guess she thought she needed a little something extra to complete that Chanel dress of hers!

We already know that in the the opening clip Carrie is wearing limited edition Mykita & Bernhard Willhelm sunglasses ($525 @ Patricia Field.) Her white dress is Halston and the necklace is Solange Azagury-Partridge, and costs almost $200k.

The shoes are Louboutin and the clutch is Chanel. Big is treating Carrie very well!
In the clip taking place in front of Bergdorf Goodman, we have Samantha with a VBH bag ($1300) and black Ray Bans. Miranda is wearing YSL Tribute heels. Charlotte is in head-to-toe pink Dior (including the bag) but not the shoes. Those are Loubs.

In this adventure the girls travel to some Arabian country. Expect sequined turbans, the girls getting sand in their “naughty” and Samantha being beheaded for “being ridden more than the village camel” . I honestly can’t wait!!!

Fashionista doesn’t like the news, and here’s why:

1. Halston is a disaster. Though we’re sure Marios Schwab will end its curse and do something brilliant, a brand can’t have a face for a collection that doesn’t exist (yet).

2. Last time Harvey chose a face, Rachel Zoe, to be associated with a brand, it failed. It really, really failed.

3. As if fashion wasn’t sick enough of celebrity, whatever comes down Lindsay Lohan’s runway for Ungaro this week will probably put off even the most celeb-friendly of the fashion world for a moment.

4. It’d be silly to pay Sarah Jessica Parker to be the face of a brand when Carrie Bradshaw’s been photographed wearing it all over Manhattan, for free, and will be seen on every screen in the same dresses come May.

Personally, I’m not specifically a fan of celebrity models, but maybe that’s just because I love models? What do you guys think of this new rumor?

Now that watching Sex and the City reruns on TBS has become a regular habit of mine, I’ve come to notice something that somehow escaped me the first time around. Maybe it was the glamour and allure of the New York City backdrop, but, besides the fact that Carrie is a complete idiot, I’ve realized just how truly ugly her outfits were. And yet, it has made a celebrity out stylist Patricia “feeling-herself-too-much” Field who quite frankly, at her age needs a little Stacy and Clinton in her life. Having been responsible for Carrie’s signature haphazard style has for whatever reason has spurred Patricia-mania, and I have yet to buy the hype. But I digress.

Some may say Carrie’s wardrobe was eclectic, unique, even groundbreaking. And yes, there were moments when I literally salivated over a well put together, chic ensemble. But nine times out of ten, the clothes were nonsensical and excessive, if not schizophrenic. I’ll admit it’s gotten better over the years, and with movie number two on the way I can only hope Carrie’s outfits aren’t as skittish as her relationship with Big.

Besides the rumor that the Sex and the City sequel is to be set in London, we have a few other interesting plot spoliers. Don’t read further if you don’t want to know…

“Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment without the five-star luxuries he is used to. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. He tells Carrie everything and she flies out to confront him. After she leaves him, she discovers she is pregnant.”

A recent survey conducted by MyCelebrityFashion revealed that 49% of the British public spend more every month on their appearance than they do on food while 18% admitted to spending more than half their wages on clothes and accessories.

What’s even more interesting is that 32% of UK females confess that if push came to shove they’d prefer to go without food to nab that fashion “must-have”. As Carrie Bradshaw once said, sometimes she felt Vogue fed her more than dinner.

As distrusting as these figures are, it almost goes together. Think about it, the less you eat the more close you can buy, and the more “fashionable” you’ll look while drastically dropping in sizes. Not that I encourage this sort of behavior, I just unfortunately know too many of these fash-o-rexics that would rather buy the latest LV bag than eat a full meal (of course, a LV bag is more than just a few meals, it’s weeks without food).

So I officially have a new hero. He goes by the moniker “The Decapitator”. He’s a street artist that has destroyed some of the most annoying ad campaigns the city has ever seen. He’s attacked Carrie Bradshaw, Kermit the Frog, the Uniqlo “cool kids”, and Ashley Tisdale of High School Musical. He may be my best friend. You can catch up with his work on his Flickr account.

If you really want to get in good with fashion people then you better know as many facts as possible about their favorite superhero, Carrie Bradshaw and her less fabulous alternate ego, Sarah Jessica Parker. The origin of this fashion heroine can be traced to the early 90’s, when failed actress Parker was down on her luck and ready to put an end to her dreams of A-list stardom. Movie roles had dried up and her days as a precocious teenager on “” were far behind her. While on the shoot for the Lifetime movie, “Breast Cancer, Retarded Babies, Divorce and The Day I Got Raped” Parker was visited by an old gypsy from the ancient kingdom of Lesbonia by the name of Patricia Fields. The gypsy handed Parker a mystical stiletto that when put on would instantly transform her into a famous fashion icon, but she warned that a curse was upon the shoes and in the process she would completely be typecast and would only see success in the role of one character. Parker instantly removed the fake pregnant belly and bald cap she had donned for her upcoming scene and put on the fateful footwear. Instantly, Parker’s frizzy locks straightened, her monster snooze shrunk, and her mind became filled with the supreme knowledge of couture and the full years schedule of international fashion weeks.

As Carrie Bradshaw, Parker was hired to play Candice Bushnell on an HBO show based on her New York Observer column, Sex and the City. The producers loved Carrie Bradshaw’s name so much, they decided to keep it, and Carrie Bradshaw’s name made it’s first connection to fame. The show was an instant success, thanks in major part to Parker suggesting that the old gypsy be brought on as costume designer. Women and gay men everywhere (so basically the whole fashion world) instantly fell in love with Carrie Bradshaw, making the show a massive hit. When the show went off the air, fashion people were devastated thinking their hero would be gone forever, but like any good comic hero death (Batman, Spiderman, Superman) Parker, dressed as Carrie, returned with a perfume, a fashion line for Dave & Barry’s, and multiple ad campaigns for the GAP (okay so most of those sounded more like Parker moves, but can you blame her for trying to make a buck). Parker was quickly feeling the sting of not being Carrie Bradshaw. In an attempt to test the gypsies curse she decided to make movies as Sarah Jessica Parker. Each attempt led to box office failure and it seemed that Sarah would slowly recede back into fame obscurity, only remembered as that fashion heroine from long ago.

Not wanting to be completely forgotten, Parker launched a campaign for the return of Carrie Bradshaw and Sex and the City. A team of writers were brought on to bring back the famous television show and create a story line that would completely ignore the happy endings told at the end of the series, opening new wounds and positioning its telling as a movie which would give Parker her first Hollywood blockbuster ever. Carrie Bradshaw’s face would be planted everywhere and her glorious return would be announced to her adorning fashion public. The gypsy was once again on hand (causing her to leave new Carrie in training Lucy Liu) and was asked to bring upon a new era of Carrie, a longer lasting era which would forever place her in the ethos of fashion. The gypsy brought 82 costume changes.

The movie hit theaters and the rest will surely be history as Carrie Bradshaw continues to slowly replace the actress once known as Sarah Jessica Parker. Wait, you thought this was a happy ending. Nah, son. That stiletto the gypsy gave her was actually a parasitic symbiote, similar to that black goo that tries to take over mild-mannered Peter Parker in Spiderman 3 and eventually creates Venom. Sarah Jessica Parker has been long gone, I think the last time she was seen was in that movie “The Family Stone” in which she played an unstylish New Yorker. After that shit fest, Sarah gave up on being her own person and Carrie Bradshaw won. You see the gypsy was really a witch, the stiletto a demonic spell, and the rest was just an Academy Award for Patricia Fields.

Where’s Parkers Oscar? Good question.

The moral of the story kids is beware of gypsies. They’ll get you every time.

I’m glad I went cause there is one big thing all you women need to know about this movie, IT IS ANTI-FEMINIST PROPAGANDA WRAPPED UP IN A PRODUCT PLACEMENT SHIT BALL.

Here are ten things I learned about my fellow “weaker vessel” from watching this flick. If this becomes the biggest female driven movie of the year it will be the equivalent of taking a major, massive step-back for womanhood. Don’t take your boyfriend/fiance to see this cause his view of you will change the instant Carrie hits the screen.

So without further ado why Sex and the City the movie kicks women in the vagina. If you haven’t seen the movie, don’t read further.

1. Men Cheat. Forgive Them. Miranda fucks up her marriage by being a cold fish in bed, not shaving, and being the usual man hating bitch she is portrayed to be. Steve cheats in a random moment of desperation, cause men will do this if you don’t fuck them, and Miranda leaves him for almost a year. It’s all better later cause Miranda realizes that eating Chinese food at New Years is no way for a women in her 40′s to spend her life. He cheated, but it is justified because Miranda doesn’t give him pussy.

As a dude, I realize that this might be a good reason to leave someone, but what happens the next time there’s a dry spell, what happened to the open communication factor which should prevent this type of shit from happening in a relationship, what will prevent him from doing it again, NOTHING. Men were granted by god the ability to cum faster than women so that they can get their rocks off in a morning with a quick hand gesture. The villain in this story is Miranda, who all the girls believe has screwed up her life cause she let a “good man” get away. The cheater becomes the victim, which is what happens when a man writes a chick flick. MEN 1. WOMEN 0.

2. Men Will Leave Your Ass at the Alter. Forgive Them. When Big decides to skip out on the wedding, Carrie freaks the fuck out. She becomes a sad little recluse and for the first time you see her without make-up (close your eyes at this point indies, it ain’t pretty). Instead of Mr.Big being a man about it and heading to Carrie’s apartment and begging for forgiveness he shoots her emails. EMAILS!!!! Really dude. Number one, Carrie is notoriously electronically challenged and the best he can come up with are emails, two, you skipped out on the FIRST wedding of a 40 year old woman who has loved and cared for you forever and three, the emails feature love letters from famous writers which you most likely copy and pasted in.

When Carrie discovers the emails she gets all flustered and takes him back. “Happy” ending.

After seasons of treating Carrie like a secret mistress his final show of “love” to her was hoping she didn’t send him to her junk box. Ill. If any of you women out there would fall for this sorried attempt at redemption, you’re complete idiots who deserve to get cheated on. Grow the fuck up. It ain’t love if it makes you cry. MEN 2. WOMEN 0.

3. Samantha Would Rather Eat Than Cheat. In the final chapter of the movie Samantha becomes hungry for a new cock. Instead of just fucking someone and giving this movie a little jolt of female empowerment, she decides to eat. While cheating is obviously not ok, it would have passed my judgment radar in a movie that featured two pricks getting away with their sins. Samantha plumps up for “love” and the result is disastrous, which follows in the typical line of thought this movie was pushing out about women, destroy yourself before you destroy your relationship. BEN & JERRY’S 3. WOMEN 0.

4. Marriage Ain’t About Love. When Big and Carrie decide to get married (the first time) there is no ring, no kneeling on one knee, just a very frank conversation about Carrie fearing she might get thrown out with yesterdays newspaper when Big wants a newer and younger model. Is that what marriage has become? A business contract. Any man who sees this will think twice about proposing and as Carrie gets caught up in the marriage fluff, her attention to Big falters. So remember girls, marriage ain’t about love it’s about heading to city hall and making it official. Thank god. I think I just saved $20 grand on my nuptials.

Actually, take that back Becks is giving me the stink eye right now. Love you baby. MEN 4. WOMEN 0.

5. If He Takes You Back Up and Leave NY. Underutilized Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson plays Carries assistant in the film. Her back story is that she’s in New York to find “love”. Puke and vomit. Number one there’s no “love” in New York (present company excluded) and coming here for it is like heading Alaska for a snow cone, laborious and completely unnecessary. If any of you single losers start flooding the streets expecting to find love in this city, realize that all the men here are way to into their careers to notice you and/or are ass munching homos. That’s it. Nothing else.

Which is why Jennifer is so desperate to fly back home and leave her “new life” in the city when her ex-love decides he wants to try out the relationship thing again. They get married. She gets pregnant and in a few years she wonders what it would have been like to be single and in NYC again. She then leaves him and finds her real Mr.Big. Okay, the last parts a lie, but you know it’ll happen. But basically, if you can’t make it here, there’s always that back-up dude you left behind. MEN 5. WOMEN 0.

6. Good Men are Fat, Bald Jews. Charlotte’s husband is the only one who manages to remain unscathed through this movie. He’s a good husband who fucks his wife 4-5 times a week, is able to get her barren womb knocked up, and big surprise, he doesn’t cheat. Thats right ladies, if all else fails, settle for the fat, bald jewish dude who will be a zero to your ten. Mazel Tov!!! RABBI FATTY 6. WOMEN 0.

7. Any Voids In Your Life Can Be Filled with Shopping. Women don’t need love. They just need access to a Saks Fifth Avenue. Honestly, is this the message you want portrayed? MANOLO BLAHNIK 7. WOMEN 0.

8. If That Fails There’s Always Dogs. The overall message was if you can’t find love, find replacements. I’m not so sure if that’s anti-fem, but it really doesn’t put you ladies in a good light, almost as if you are not whole until you have one of us in your life. Samantha adopts a randy little puppy when things with her and Smith start going sour. The dog pays her the attention she desires and acts like a crutch to keep their relationship going. FIDO 8. WOMEN 0.

9. Smith’s Got 99 Problems but a Bitch Ain’t One. When Samantha finally reveals to Smith that she wants out of the relationship he doesn’t try to fight for her, actually barely changes the tone of his voice. In what was the easiest break-up ever, Smith just let’s Samantha walk out of their life together. A five year relationship ends in a whimper. I’ve never seen a man in a movie act so laissez faire about a break up, guess that’s what happens when your hot and know you can get some tomorrow from that craft services girl you’ve been flirting with for months (didn’t happen, but come on). Out with the old and in with the new pussy. If you feeling like a pimp, go brush your shoulders off. JAY Z 9. WOMEN 0.

10. Men Will Cheat If You Don’t Wax. Seriously, we will. MEN 10. WOMEN 0.

So ladies, if you’re expecting Sex to be anything else than a really long issue of the Bloomingdales catologue you are fresh out of luck. The fashions are more notable than the story line cause in the end none of the characters grow and we’re left in the same situation we were left in at the shows finally. Carrie and Big are together. Charlotte and Jew Ball are together. Miranda and Steve are together. The only difference this time around is that Samantha will die old and lonely.  Wow, that was a shocker.

Oh yeah, and Vogue is a fucking bitch. Goddamn are those assholes nasty. Love you Andre Leon Fatty.
