With New York Fashion Week over and done, we get to see what designers latched onto which wavelengths, sending down similar looks for us to love. Whether it’s an outlined slimming technique, laser technology treated leather, or the red wine that everyone in fashion’s been drinking, there are some trends that have permeated the runways. We’ve gathered 10 trends that have turned our heads from the indie runways up to the big guys’ catwalks. See what you may be wearing in 6 months time, or sooner.

We’ve had our rounds of snowfall this New York Fashion Week. Flurries have caught us on our guard on and off the runway. Our screens got fuzzy as we watched busy black and white patterns flurry past.  Designers like Alexander Wang, Christian Siriano, Catherine Malandrino and others have already got the buzz, more are likely to follow suit.

Just when you thought it was safe to turn on your TV, Project Runway has spawned a secondary series, Project Runway All Stars. While the 10th season of boring, regular PJ Runway starts in June with Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn stepping into their well-worn shoes, PJ Runway All Stars debuts January 5 with new but fashionably familiar faces.

-Formerly esteemed photog Annie Leibovitz is now shooting Sears catalogs. And what’s worse, the stars of these Sears catalogs are those blights on the landscape of pop culture, the sisters Kardashian. Leibovitz shot them for Kardashian Kollection, their new line of clothing with the mass retailer and apparently she didn’t give two shits about it. Note how Khloe Kardashian is downsized a good half-a-foot to fit into the pic. [Jezebel]

One shoulder frocks are lovely, especially if you have Michelle Obama's toned arms.  Summer calls for floral prints and thigh grazing dresses.  One shoulder dresses are sexy alternatives to show off shoulders, clavicles and arms.
