The 15 and 16 year old Kendall-Kylie duo have signed with accessories company Glamhouse to create their up and coming (and yet to be named) jewelry line for teens and tweens and are also shaping up for their television debut.

My biggest problem is if you’re going to hire a celebrity to design a line and if they don’t know what they are doing, then they need to hire the right person to sketch and oversee the line. It’s an insult to the fashion industry for people who have studied this craft, researched it, traveled the world looking for inspiration compared to someone who just pulls something out of their closet and changes the color.”

WWD is reporting that Kate Moss will be designing for Longchamp. The model has appeared in the four seasons of Longchamp ads so it makes sense that they finally make her work for her money by putting her name on some overpriced handbags.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been added to the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s list of America’s most renowned designers. Joining over 350 clothing and accessories geniuses, the Olsen twins have finally crossed the line from celebrity designer to an established brand. We knew it would happen, putting them in first place on our ten best celebrity designers list. Congratulations are in order for Alexander Wang, Jason Wu and Chris Benz too!

The idea of making my own perfume makes me want to vomit.”
Well finally, I’ve been waiting for a young female actress to be so sensible. No one wants to smell like you, especially if you’re going to be vomiting in it while approving the scent.

The lead singer of Oasis, Liam Gallagher is gearing up to launch a clothing line. It’s called Pretty Green, comes out in July and is apparently for the 98% of us who are non-skinny. I’d support it but I’ve seen his sartorial stage choices. Not impressed.

Lindsay is rumored to soon launch her own line of leggins for Italian brand Fornarina, who will open their flagship store this year in New York City. Not only is she the designer, she is also the face of their expanding international campaign.
I think this is a great representation of how destructive she really is!
A label spokesperson tells WWD they selected Lindsay because she “is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she’s got a lot of attitude.” And, he adds, “That’s what we’re hoping our customer will aspire to.” And while for now Lindsay’s sticking to modeling for the company’s upcoming ad campaign, she reveals to WWD that although she’d love to design for the label in the future, “Right now, it’s just leggings for me.”
Is this who we want to see as a model?
Personally, I don’t understand what there is to aspire to in Lohan. She is a drunken has-bin actress whose mother is so desperate she is staring in her own reality show about the hardships of being a show mom. Seriously, Lindsay is not dynamic she is confused and not a great role model or spokesperson for any fashion label. I know I’m a hater but this is not the image I want to be portrayed to young girls!
