I like the way thisshape frames the brow, it gives your eyes a very alert look. And the bridge coming up metal connects them in a certainly non-unibrowish look. The tortoise translucence will give your face a soft look even on the coolest days (that may or may not come, given the balmy conditions of our New Year’s Eve – knock on wood, I’d like it to stay this warm, thank you).

I found myself scrambling out of my apartment for a little late afternoon retail therapy, and the cold snowy rain in Boston must have gone to my head, because I found myself flipping through the racks of Urban Outfitters. Just because the holidays are over, doesn’t necessarily mean the sales have crawled back into their deep dark caves. There are so many infact, that I’m starting to view it as a new form of thrifting, you just have to go as many places and hunt for the good deals.
