That being said, who on earth would wear the best of the best designer gear to such an event? As a huge concert-goer (pretty psyched about the Lollapalooza 2009 lineup!) I often wonder what I’m going to wear…or not wear. However, a Roberto Cavalli romper and a Raquel Allegra top were definitely not on my list of things to sport at a show. After Lollapalooza 2008, I came home with ruined gladiators, a broken pair of sunglasses, grass stains on my cut offs and unidentified splotches on my sundress. So, tell me, why one earth would you wear some $800 silk chiffon garb to Coachella? By all means, look cute…but save the designer stuff for a classy, sit-down event.
