Louis Vuitton” Trunks and Toys” Exhibit Manila July 15 – August 5, 2010

Owing to Louis Vuitton’s birthday, I would like to inject a little whimsy in my blog. Not too long ago, LV sponsored an exhibit entitled “Trunks and Toys” in my hometown, Manila. Since I am 8,562 miles away, there was no way that I could view it. Thankfully with the advances in technology and absolutely LVoely people, the exhibit came to me which I would like to share with all of you. The toys are from the founding family, a testimony to their passion for anything to do with travel. The exhibit also includes some antique trunks that were shipped all the way from Asnières, France. Two things I realize about this post: 1) caged heels have been big all summer and 2) I am stretching it slightly to lump #7 into the category of caged heels. Two things you should know in response 1) all of the above shoes are reasonably priced (score!) and 2) I'm in love with #7! 


In all seriousness, right now is the perfect time to pick up a pair (or two) of these if you haven't already. Second, almost any of the above would make a great transition shoe into the fall because of the boot-like silhouette.
